I met Earl Thomas Conley at a studio in Nashville.  Can’t remember the name of the studio.  We were having a cocktail. He was telling me stories of how he drives his tractor round his property for enjoyment.  And we talked about how we couldn’t remember our dreams and what caused our memory lapse.

Earl Thomas, in my opinion, is one of the most original commercial voices in country music.  He has my vote for the Hall of Fame.  E T recorded my first cut in Nashville Tenn. In 1988, a song called, “Finally Friday”
